What if we remembered how to tend to our daughters as they cross the invisible threshold between childhood and adolescence?
What if, instead of leaving them to navigate these tender years alone, we wrapped them in warmth, ritual, and wise mentorship?
Girls Group is a weekly after-school sanctuary for girls navigating these important - and challenging - threshold years. This offering is a call to gather, to root, and to remember the ancient ways of growing up—held by community, guided by story, and woven with care.
Girls Group is a living, breathing circle for girls who are navigating the shift from child to adolescent.
It’s a place for them to begin exploring the mysteries of the feminine. A place for girls to find belonging in a peer group that is held with respect and tenderness.
It’s an oasis for girls to be silly, messy, confused, excited, scared or sad. It is a safe place where they can let go of the masks they wear and be themselves.
This is a return to what we all once had—and what our daughters still deserve:
A safe circle.
A haven.
A place to be seen.
And while this is not therapy, I am a therapist and have the skills to hold all that is arising emotionally for your girls at this time.
Adolescence arrives like a tide - powerful, unpredictable, and often overlooked in our culture. At this age, the intellect sharpens, emotions swell, and the questions begin to deepen:
Who am I?
Where do I belong?
What is happening to me, and is it okay?
Without guidance, these questions can turn into silence, shame, or isolation. But with loving mentorship and soulful community, this time can become a foundation for confidence, compassion, and self-trust.
Girls Group exists to honor this transition as sacred.
We hold space for grief and celebration. For the shedding of childhood and the dawning of something new. We name it, honor it, and walk it together.
Why this matters
Girls Group meets once a week after school, creating a consistent rhythm and relationship. We weave together a holistic approach inspired by:

No two girls are the same, and neither are our groups. Each circle is responsive, intuitive, and crafted to meet the evolving needs of its members—gently guiding them toward self-awareness, resilience, and belonging.

In addition, we hold a parent meeting every block, and each year there are potential outings, guest mentors/teachers, and parent involved ceremonies at threshold moments….
The tools we weave in:
2025/26 Girls Group Offerings:
Who: 6th & 7th Grade Girls (as of Sept 2025)
When: Mondays 3:45-5:30
(circle officially starts at 4pm to accommodate varying school schedules)
2 BLOCKS:
Fall (12 sessions - Sept-Dec)
Spring (14 sessions - Jan-June)
This is a year long program with the expectation that you will commit to both blocks.
Where: Ganges Yoga Studio
Investment (per block):
Base Tier: $595
Share the Love Tier: $795
(this tier creates a scholarship fund for those who cannot afford to access the group otherwise)
Payment plans available.
~ Spots are limited to 10 ~
A small number of partial scholarships are available to those in need.
6TH & 7TH GRADE GIRLS GROUP:

The intention is to offer a continuation of this group into future years and launch a new group for this age group each year. If you have a girl who doesn’t fit in this age group, please email me at kelsey@herwildhearth.com to express interest.
A note on inclusivity: Girls Group is a trans and non-binary femme friendly space.
This is more than an after-school program.
It’s a reclamation.
Of community.
Of mentorship.
Of honoring the wild and beautiful path of girlhood.
